( Click image to see the series) The Ocular Vibration series is inspired by my love of music. I don't play or sing, sadly but I love all types of music. When I am in the studio alone painting there will always be music playing!! The music helps create the painting, What I hear becomes part of what you see ....
Watercolor will always be my first love. There is so much to explore creatively that I must keep trying new mediums but I always return to watercolor.
Wearable Art (click on image) Wearable art is a great way to enjoy art all day long. Each piece is hand painted and an original (not a print). All of the scarves are 100% silk and have been hand painted with a specialized silk dye. The scarves can be hand washed or taken to the dry cleaners. If you want a more personalized piece, I welcome commissions.
The Paintings in this Gallery are created primarily by using palette knife and acrylic paint. I enjoy the energy and abstraction this process creates! I hope you do too!
